Book bags are to be used for carrying school work and information.

Carriers with wheels are not allowed at Gloria Dei.

1        Large plain white t-shirt, large enough to fit over jackets (this is for P.E.) Please label t-shirt with your child’s name on the tag.

 

Note:  The tissues and baby wipes can be dropped off with your child’s teacher during Open House.

Our combined 61 years of classroom experience has shown that good quality supplies are more durable and shouldn’t have to be replaced as often.

 

 1       Box regular (#2) yellow pencils (good quality) (no names needed)

 

* 1     Block eraser

 

* 1     Box of crayons (24 count) (Put child's initials on each color crayon)

 

* 3     Small glue sticks (no glue pens)

 

* 1     Elmers school glue bottle

 

* 1     Box of 8 washable markers (not thin ones) in a zippered plastic pencil bag

 

* 3     Pocket folders with brads (plastic is more durable)

 

  1      LARGE box of tissues

 

  1      Book bag (carriers with wheels will not be allowed)

 

  1      Plastic school supply box (most are 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", no larger than 9" x 9")

 

  NO - Pencil sharpeners, ruler, or scissors

FIFTH GRADE SUPPLY LIST

 

Fifth grade teachers will provide name labels for all supplies, spirals, and folders on the first day of school.  You do not need to put names on any supplies in advance.  Students are responsible for replacing supplies as needed.  Please do not send any supplies that are not on this list.  All supplies noted “collect on the first day” will be collected on the first day of school and kept at school for the students.

 

For all fifth grade classes:

 

1        2” binder

4        Packs of notebook paper

3        12 packs of # 2 pencils (collect on the first day)

1        Small box colored pencils (box of 12 or 24) (collect on the first day)

1        Box (10 - 12) red pens for checking papers (collect on the first day)
