Math Facts to Learn

On this page you will find information about new skills that we are learning in math.  Please work on these facts and skills as a part of your homework time.  Addition and Subtraction facts need to be memorized, so that the answers are given immediately and without counting.

Read and write numbers to 200

Count by ones, fives and tens

Identify the greater and smaller number

Memorize addition and subtraction facts

with sums of 7 or less.  Use fact families to help:

3+4=7              2+5=7              1+6=7

4+3=7              5+2+7              6+1=7

7-3=4              7-2=5              7-1=6

7-4=3              7-5=2              7-6=1
