Gloria Dei Lutheran School provides a Before and After school child care program as well as a  Summer Adventure Program for both public school students along with those students enrolled in Gloria Dei's school program.  This service is available to children ages three through twelve.  Children are cared for in a Christ-centered, child-oriented environment by staff members who have the capacity for loving and growing with their children.  Students may participate on a part-time hourly or full-time basis.

·         Snow days (unless conditions are severe)

·         Summer vacation

·         Holidays  (Martin Luther King Day,Washington's Birthday, Good Friday)

 

 

Child Care Closed on:

·         Labor Day

·         Thanksgiving Day & Friday after

·         Christmas Eve - December 24

·         New Year's Eve - December 31

·         Memorial Day

·         4th of July

·         Arts and Crafts

·         Organized Indoor and Outdoor Activity Periods

·         Tutorial Study (3rd - 6th grade only)

·         Study Period - Second grade daily in classroom

 

Hours for Child Care

·         Before School: 6:00 a.m. - 8:15 a.m., all ages

·         After School : 12:00 noon - 6:00 p.m.
Preschool, Prekindergarten and 1/2 day Kindergarten

·         2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., 1st - 6th grade

·         2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., all day kindergarten

·         School Holidays: 6:15 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., all ages

·         Barron Fundamental School

·         Booker Elementary School

·         John B. Cary Elementary School

·         Samuel P. Langley Elementary School

·         Phillips Elementary School

·         Eaton Fundamental School - 6th grade

Childcare provided for the following schools

No Gloria Dei bus service provided - Hampton City School transportation.
