Gloria Dei Lutheran School is expanding to offer a middle school program.  For the 2010-2011 school year, we have included the 6^jth grade.  A grade level will be added each year to complete the 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th grades.

· Strong academic core with enriching resource/elective schedule.

· Students will experience changing of classes for all subjects.

· Literature, language, composition, science, social studies, and Pre-Algebra or ABeka basic math taught daily.

· Laptops provided for each student.

· Fully equipped computer lab. Computer instruction to include Digital photography, Microsoft Publisher, Web Design, and production of a school newspaper.

Variety of resource/electives. 

· Physical Education Units

· Art  - drawing, painting

· Music – hand bells, choral

· Drama

· Spanish

· Health and First Aid

· Library and research skills.

· After school soccer team.
